The plane ride was monotonous. The woman next to him snored the entire three-hour flight. The man to his other side did nothing but stare out the window and mumble obscene things to himself. Or perhaps, not particularly himself, but everybody on the plane that didn't have a pair of headphones over their ears. Speaking of such, Donavon's Creed's had long since broken, so he sat in somber silence, listening to the soft whirring and clicking of the plane and the wings and the soft murmur of people speaking to their friends or family or acquaintances. The funeral was a small affair. Only about twenty were in absolute attendance; close friends, coworkers, people Donavon Creed had only met once in his life, at best. Her brother visited for a passing moment in the late afternoon. Nora had been disowned when she was thirteen, and lived with Von far before that. The fact that her brother had the gall to show his face at her funeral was a truly remarkable thing.
